Stryd Launches Trendy Cycling Experience with Integrated AV Solution
Stryd launches an indoor cycling studio in Abu Dhabi. Located in the buildings facing Mamsha Al Saadiyat, the studio offers riding classes with a fascinating panoramic beach view.
Stryd partnered with Procom for the supply and integration of their AV system, including lighting, audio, video and control.
The main studio sound system consisted of Q-43-T speakers along with Q-10 subwoofers. The system was powered using the P-Series amplifiers. In addition, DAS Audio’s Action 8A was used as a stage monitor. The system can be operated and controlled easily through a wireless control system hosted on a Jupiter 8 from Symetrix together with Arc-2e wall panel controller.
The lighting design consisted of a number of pixel mapped fixtures. This included: a selection of CPX436IP-I bars and XL18 covering the ceiling, and a PR20 facelight installed above the instructor profile.
A madrix system which included Luna 8 and Madrix key entry was used to program and control the lighting effect, allowing for an unlimited variety of effects to be mapped.
Video control was implemented using 2 x Hex70SL-Kit and a SP12AB HDMI splitter from Blustream. Multiple control interfaces can be switched between using the system.
