Ableton Live is a software music sequencer and digital audio workstation for macOS and Windows. In contrast to many other software sequencers, Ableton Live is designed to be an instrument for live performances as well as a tool for composing, recording, arranging, mixing, and mastering, as shown by Ableton's companion hardware product, Ableton Push. It is also used by DJs, as it offers a suite of controls for beatmatching, crossfading, and other different effects used by turntablists, and was one of the first music applications to automatically beat match songs.
Procom is now offering in Dubai an Ableton live training by a certified trainer that will be divided into two levels: Discovery Level (2 days) and Remix Level (2 days).
The "Remix Level" is a 2-day hands-on workshop for participants who have already used Live. The objective is for users to be able to create their own remixes at the end and improve their knowledge of the software. Participants in the Discovery Level are encouraged to participate in the Remix Level.
The training includes but is not limited to recovering and creating pieces taken from a track, synchronizing parts using the warp functions, loop function, using clip envelopes, audio to midi functions, working with midi files and much more. The training will start by listening and analyzing music tracks and use it as a starting point to dive into the software functions in-depth
At the end of the 2-day workshop participants will be able to create their own remix
