Building on the foundation laid by the previous Beginner Laser Technician course, this advanced laser training delves deeper into the effects engine, cue types, and the art of designing captivating shows for both live operation and pre-programmed timeline shows.
Award-winning Lyra Letourneau will lead this course, sharing invaluable insights and knowledge on rare topics that will elevate your shows to new heights. Topics include the internal scripting language "Pangoscript", midi mapping for live control devices, the BEYOND Universe for creating custom layouts, visualizing lasers, configurations, and how to really make your setup yours. Plus, this course will begin to delve away from just "technical education" of the tools and features, but "creative education" of how to use features, situations in which these tools can be used, and how to improve your shows overall. A certificate of training will be provided upon completion of the course.

Lyra is the Creative Director for Pangolin laser systems and has been programming and operating laser shows since she was 14 years old. She has worked in all aspects of the industry including touring, theater, large-scale theme parks, cruise ships, and even small-town shows, and winning awards for some of these shows along the way. She now plays a supporting role in the industry doing trainings, support, and community outreach for Pangolin systems. But still finds time to do shows when she can to stay up to date and understand the needs of the industry she serves.
